Skill in using a computer; Ability to operate golf course equipment; Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions; Flexibility to work a varied schedule; Good customer service skills and the ability to deal with the public with tact and courtesy. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees, managers, patrons, volunteers and the general publicThis is a clerk position, reporting to the Golf Course Manager, involving providing golf shop services to the general public.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Stocking and organizing merchandise and informing supervisor of restocking needs.
- Selling golf shop merchandise and collecting fees for green fees, cart rentals,
- Operating electronic cash register, counting and remitting cash receipts.
- Opens and closes the golf shop, generally without supervision.
- Prepares shift change, bank deposit, and end of day reports.
- Ensures golf cart availability for patrons.
- Performing basic housekeeping duties such as dusting, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, etc.
- May supervise Cart Attendant, Starter, and volunteers in the absence of the Clubhouse Manager.
- Assist Food & Beverage personnel as needed.
- Assists Golf Course Supervisor as required.
