Position Summary
We’re looking for a Director of Outreach & Partnerships—a hands-on operational leader to help guide our growth, expand our community presence, and deepen our impact. This leadership role works closely with the Board and staff, co-leads alongside the Practice Manager, and ensures our programs, partnerships, and public engagement reflect the Center’s values and mission.

Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership & Growth
- Lead day-to-day outreach, partnership, and community engagement efforts with an eye toward organizational growth
- Collaborate with staff and the Practice Manager to maintain smooth operations during periods of change and expansion
- Support program development and integration of maternal/child health initiatives
- Serve as a trusted leader during transitions, providing stability and vision while being a hands-on doer
Build Partnerships & Represent the Center
- Represent the Center at events, conferences, and media opportunities
- Cultivate relationships with healthcare providers, nonprofits, agencies, and corporate partners
- Strengthen the Center’s reputation as a regional leader in maternal and child health
Drive Program & Organizational Development
- Align outreach efforts with program goals and service delivery
- Plan and implement initiatives that increase engagement and deepen community impact
- Support new programs and services as the Center grows
Fundraise & Grow Resources
- Lead grant writing, sponsorship development, and donor engagement initiatives
- Coordinate fundraising campaigns and events that support organizational sustainability
Support Governance & Culture
- Report on key metrics to the Board and assist with program and organizational planning
- Ensure all outreach and engagement activities comply with ethical and legal standards
- Foster a culture of inclusion, professionalism, and trauma-informed care
- Champion a collaborative, flexible, and positive workplace as the Center evolves
What You Bring
- 7 years in leadership roles within nonprofit leadership, outreach, or community engagement
- Proven ability to execute initiatives, supervise staff, and manage cross-functional projects
- Hands-on operational experience; able to balance big-picture planning with day-to-day action
- Proven success in fundraising, strategy, and public representation
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Passion for maternal health, lactation support, and family wellness
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred
