Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Optometry Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our optometrists. This position involves assisting with various clinical tasks, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the optometry practice. ( Not a seasonal job , NO COLLEGE STUDENTS) Long term position.
Responsibilities
- Assist optometrists during eye examinations by preparing patients and equipment.
- Maintain accurate patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide excellent patient care by addressing inquiries and educating patients about procedures.
- Manage front desk operations including scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and processing payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the examination rooms.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
