Position Description
BTC is seeking one IT Support Coordinator at the Cincinnati Country Day School Site (6905 Given Rd. . The IT Support Coordinator reports to the Program Director. IT is responsible for the inventory and well-being of the program technology. They create schedules to support the equitable use of technology and train team members on proper use of equipment. The overarching goal is to increase academic gains with the support of accessible technology (eg. devices, 3D printers, software, and more).
IT SUPPORT
- Oversees the daily operating systems of the summer program’s information technology.
- S/he supports installation and configuration of hardware and software.
- S/he will manage the laptops and other IT equipment, ensuring the items are fully charged, secure, and delivered where they’re needed for program usage (eg., classrooms on site).
- S/he will create and manage reservations and delivery of the equipment.
- S/he will wrap up the summer program, gathering and storing all IT equipment securely after the summer program is completed.
- S/he will track and troubleshoot any IT equipment issues as reported by the Breakthrough Staff or Scholars.
Position Requirements
The IT Support Coordinator must be mature, organized, have strong communication skills, have the ability to multitask, and work comfortably under deadlines. This individual needs to have a working understanding of Chromebooks and other basic IT equipment, like projectors and whiteboards. This individual must also be proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Word and Excel, and comfortable creating and using spreadsheets. S/he is a student seeking professional growth in the areas of administration or project management. S/he embodies Breakthrough Cincinnati’s values and demonstrates strong interpersonal, organizational, communication and leadership skills. S/he possesses a strong work ethic, organizational strengths, self-motivation, and adherence to professionalism.
Minimum Position Requirements
In addition to the characteristics described above, s/he meets the following minimum position requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED.
- 1 year work or volunteer experience
- Eligible for Summer Federal Work Study at the University of Cincinnati
