Job Overview
We are searching for a packer for our Pennsauken, NJ facility who can assist our team to pull, package, and label shipments, acting as the last point of contact for our customers’ orders. We are an industrial & electrical surplus seller on Ebay. You will be expected to lift and move packages up to 50 pounds and ensure our product is packaged efficiently and labeled for the correct destination. Hours are Monday-Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm with optional overtime. Paid holidays, vacation, holiday bonus, 401K, healthcare & dental insurance.
Responsibilities
- Pull, pack, weigh, and label products based on daily orders.
- Ensure all packages are properly packaged and sealed.
- Meet the specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
- Monitor product quality and report any problems or discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Good reliability and time management.
- Must have a minimun of 2 years of packing experience.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Comfortable using a computer
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills
- Ability to accurately check items against packing lists and identify defects.
- Capacity to stand, walk, lift, and move heavy packages for long periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors.
- A commitment to safety practices.
- General understanding of packing procedures.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ebay listing knowledge is a very strong plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
