We are looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiving Employee to join our team. This position is responsible for receiving incoming merchandise, verifying shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring products are accurately accounted for before moving into production or fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and understands the importance of accuracy, organization, and keeping materials moving efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming shipments of apparel, uniforms, equipment, and supplies
- Verify shipments against packing slips, purchase orders, and system records
- Count and inspect merchandise for accuracy, damage, and discrepancies
- Enter and update received inventory in the company’s system
- Label, sort, and organize incoming merchandise by customer, order, style, size, and quantity
- Communicate shortages, overages, damages, or incorrect items to management and purchasing
- Route received merchandise to the appropriate production, decoration, warehouse, or fulfillment area
- Maintain an organized and accurate receiving area
- Maintain accurate records and paperwork related to incoming shipments
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned
