Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including material handling and equipment positioning
- Perform heavy lifting and manual labor tasks such as moving materials, tools, and debris safely and efficiently
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and heavy equipment in accordance with safety regulations
- Support concrete work including mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction
- Install rebar, metal studs, framing, drywall, and perform masonry or stucco work as needed
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of plans
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction projects or in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, or roofing is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous
- Ability to interpret blueprint specifications and schematics accurately
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, concrete pumping equipment, and heavy machinery operation is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and commitment to adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, climbing ladders or scaffolding, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience is a plus for transporting materials or equipment
