What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Bread of Life Care?
Schedule: Part Time (24 hrs/week)
- Tuesday - 08:00 am - 08:00 pm
- Wednesday - 08:00 am - 08:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing.
- Provide transportation to appointments and community activities.
- Prepare meals, cook, and maintain a clean living environment.
- Offer companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
- Adapt to the client's unique needs and preferences.
- Support time awareness and gentle transitions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be 18 or older
- Technology/smartphone literate
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to self-manage
- Experience caring for individuals with disabilities or personal care needs.
- CPR certified or willing to become certified
- Positive attitude and ability to handle stressful situations
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Must pass a background check
- Patience, compassion, and reliability.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
