We are seeking a motivated and dependable Driver and Bread Packer to join our dynamic team. This role combines the essential responsibilities of safely delivering products to our customers while efficiently packing and organizing bread products within our baking facility. Responsibilities
- Carefully pack bread and bakery orders according to customer and delivery specifications
- Double-check orders for accuracy before they leave the bakery
- Load and organize bread safely in the delivery vehicle
- Deliver fresh bread to our wholesale customers and other local accounts
- Provide friendly and professional customer service during deliveries
- Handle bread and bakery products carefully to ensure they arrive in excellent condition
- Help keep the packing and delivery areas clean and organized
- Assist with other bakery tasks as needed during the morning
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Comfortable driving locally and making multiple deliveries
- Able to lift and carry boxes and bags of bread
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow packing lists accurately
- Organized, punctual, and able to work independently
- Friendly and professional with customers
- Previous bakery, food service, delivery, or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule
The position is Wednesday through Saturday, starting at 7:00am and ending around 12:00 pm. The exact end time may vary depending on the day’s orders and deliveries.
