Position Overview
As a Veterinary Receptionist, you’re the first person our clients meet when they walk through the door or call on the phone. Your job is to make people and their pets feel welcome, supported, and cared for. You’ll help check in patients, schedule appointments, answer questions, handle payments, and keep records organized. You’ll also be the link between clients and our veterinary team, making sure communication is clear and timely.

Primary Responsibilities
- Greet and check in clients and pets.
- Answer multi-line phones and schedule appointments.
- Collect payments and manage client records.
- Assist with paperwork, prescription refills, and insurance forms.
- Communicate client needs to the veterinary team.
- Manage mail, deliveries, and online portals.
- Keep reception area clean and welcoming.
- Provide friendly, professional customer service.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1–2 years of veterinary or client service experience required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service focused
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable with computers, phones, and learning veterinary software
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and office procedures
- Ability to stay positive and calm in a fast-paced environment
- Works well both independently and as part of a team
