Job Summary/Basic Function:
Adjunct Instructors are hired in a part-time capacity on an as needed basis. These positions are filled prior to or during each semester and are contingent upon the needs of the College.
Brazosport College accepts application materials for pool positions on a continuing basis throughout the year from qualified applicants willing to teach on a part-time basis.
Academic departments will contact potential applicants when there are available openings.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Reports to the Division Chair of Industrial Process Technologies
- Teaches Process Technology classes using traditional and alternative delivery methods
- CCPI
College benefits do not accrue with this part-time position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Process Technology from a regionally accredited college
- Minimum of three years of industrial experience
- Interest in alternative instructional delivery methods
- excellent written and oral communication skills
- Other qualities, experiences, and skills that enhance one’s value to the institution
- Exceptional employment or educational qualifications may be given special consideration
Desirable Qualifications:
- Three years of chemical industry experience preferred
- Bilingual language skills preferred
Salary : $51,471 - $81,306
