Role:
Responsible for the operation, supervision and training of the On-Line Lending Department with respect to all functions in order to ensure quality service to members. Provides coaching and development to assigned department staff.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ensures active and on-going coaching and development to assigned department staff, writes and conducts performance appraisals and identifies training needs.
- Oversees the daily operations of the department; trains and directs assigned staff. Interviews, recommends new hires, promotions, transfers and salary adjustments.
- Assigns and monitors tasks of staff, ensures policies and procedures are followed and deadlines are met. Makes suggestions to improve operations and procedures. Implements changes in operations, policies and procedures as directed. Understands duties and functions of direct reports.
- Review and analyzes reports and makes appropriate recommendations as necessary
- Assists online loan staff with lending and member questions as needed.
- Reviews and approves time records and time off requests. Prepares schedules and monitors the work of assigned loan staff through queues and expectations to determine if additional training is needed.
- Performs loan maintenance for release of lien, extensions, payment corrections, etc.
- Handle and address complaints concerning the online loans department
- Conducts appeals with staff on loan denials
- Maintains working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to member services and financial services area to include (but not limited to): BSA reporting requirements, OFAC, USA Patriot ACT, Red Flags, Regulation CC, Regulation D, Regulation E, Truth in Savings, Truth in Lending, Privacy, etc.
- Assists with other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Minimum five years of lending experience preferred.
- Minimum two years Supervisory experience required.
- A high school education or GED required.
- Ability to analyze data for equitable resolutions.
- Proficient with problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work regular full time hours.
- Ability to work on-site at designated location.
- Ability to communicate with courtesy, tact, and diplomacy and model exemplary member service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and graphics software applications.
- Must be bondable
Ergonomic Considerations:
- Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time (6 to 7 hours per day).
- Must be able to view a computer screen, use a keyboard to enter information, and manipulate a mouse.
- Job includes some repetitive hand/wrist motions.
- Ability to operate office machinery.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
