Role
Responsible for retaining and expanding existing account relationships and acquiring new members. Develops activities and strategies to promote growth of the credit union by attracting new members.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for retaining and expanding existing account relationships and acquiring new members. Develops activities and strategies to promote growth of the credit union by attracting new members.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Increases visibility and obtains new members by promotion and education of credit union products and services.
- Attends events on behalf of the credit union to discover new network opportunities and remains active in the community.
- Assists with planning and participates in community, business development and member retention events.
- Conducts regular phone calls and visits to promote credit union awareness within the schools and community.
- Compiles detailed and accurate reports related to business development activity.
- Maintains working knowledge of regulatory compliance related to member services and financial services area to include (but not limited to): USA Patriot ACT, Red Flags, Truth in Savings, Privacy, etc.
- Develops and maintains strong knowledge of credit union products and services.
- Public speaking representative for events of all sizes (up to 200 ) representing the Credit Union.
- Yearly review of Chamber of Commerce sites and utilize digital blast to Chamber members, monthly or as often as membership will allow.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
