Asset Management Analyst

About the Role

Brazos Residential is seeking a driven and analytically strong Asset Management Analyst to support the continued growth of our expanding multifamily portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, partnering directly with our asset management team to drive performance, optimize returns, and protect long-term portfolio value.

Key Responsibilities

You will provide analytical and operational support across a diverse portfolio of multifamily investments, with direct visibility into how decisions are made and value is created.

· Monitor property performance against business plans, tracking financial results and key operational metrics with precision and consistency

·  Prepare and maintain internal reporting, including hold/sell analyses, valuation updates, and financial forecasts

· Collaborate with in-house property management teams to evaluate leasing performance, operational trends, and market dynamics

· Support the development of annual operating plans, property-level budgets, and capital expenditure priorities

· Conduct market and competitive research to inform portfolio strategy and surface opportunities for operational improvement

· Participate in due diligence for acquisitions, including financial modeling and expense analysis

· Support asset-level transactions, including dispositions and refinancings

· Contribute to investor reporting, including quarterly updates and performance commentary

· Take ownership of special projects and initiatives that move the team forward

What You Bring

· Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Real Estate, or a related field

· 0 to 2 years of experience in multifamily asset management, real estate private equity, or commercial real estate underwriting

· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling capability

· Highly organized and self-directed, with the ability to manage competing priorities without losing accuracy or momentum

· Clear communicator who works well in a collaborative, fast-moving environment

· Comfort leveraging AI tools to enhance research, reporting, and workflow efficiency

· Experience with Yardi Voyager or similar property management platforms is a plus
