Brazos Kids Dental is seeking a fun, motivated, and dedicated Lead Dental Assistant to join our team. As a lead dental assistant, you perform a wide range of tasks like providing patient care, taking X-rays, recordkeeping, and scheduling appointments.
Responsibilities:
- Ensures compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and State Dental Board regulations.
- Responsible for the professional and clinical development of clinical team members.
- Assists the doctor during a variety of treatments, exams, and procedures.
- Cleans and sterilizes instruments and prepare treatment rooms as needed.
- Direct doctor accordingly to maximize schedule efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Maintains a smooth patient workflow with the front office staff and clinical teams to promote timely and exceptional patient experience visits.
- Maintain clinical supplies and inventory.
- Responsible for the maintenance of emergency kits and first aid supplies in the office to ensure that they are stocked properly and up to date.
- Participate in monthly Team meetings.
- Assist in safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with other office duties requested or needed.
Requirements:
- Active Registered Dental Assistant License.
- Current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an RDA in a dental practice.
