What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker position at Brazos Fasteners Inc?
Brazos Fasteners is a growing family owned fastener distributor in the Brazosport area.
We need ambitious and hardworking individuals who don't mind working in hot or cold conditions. Our workers pride themselves on their speed and accuracy. Although knowledge of fasteners is a plus, on the job training is the norm for the right applicant.
Job duties:
- Filling packing requests from inventoried materials
- Receiving and stocking supply items
- Completing job tasks in an efficient manner and time stressed deadlines
- Keeping the facility clean and safe
Qualifications:
- Shift is 8am to noon and 1 to 5pm, Monday thru Friday, full time
- Ability to stoop and bend regularly
- Ability to repetitively lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds regularly, and less frequently, lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds
- Ability to push or pull objects on carts or pallets that weigh up to 550 pounds
- Ability to work in an efficient and dependable manner
- Fork lift experience a plus
