Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant located in Pompano Beach, FL. The Accountant will be responsible for performing day-to-day accounting tasks including maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The role also involves monitoring budgets, analyzing financial data, and assisting in audits to ensure accuracy and transparency in all financial operations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Experience with accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and bookkeeping
- Proficiency in financial software and tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar programs
- Analytical mindset with an attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in audits
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Previous experience as an Accountant or in a similar role is preferred
