Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Vinyl Siding Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality vinyl siding on residential and commercial buildings, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and adherence to safety standards. Duties
- Measure and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to determine siding layout and installation requirements
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary materials such as caulking or trim carpentry components
- Install vinyl siding using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and scaffolding while adhering to safety protocols including harness use and ladder safety regulations
- Ensure proper alignment, fastening, and sealing of siding panels for a seamless finish that withstands weather conditions
- Perform minor repairs on existing siding or related exterior elements such as stucco or metal roofing when needed
- Follow blueprint schematics and schematics for precise installation according to project specifications
- Maintain a clean work area, document progress, and communicate effectively with team members regarding project timelines and safety procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience in siding installation or related construction fields such as roofing, framing, or remodeling
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including the use of safety harnesses, ladders, and heavy lifting techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction plans accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and fabrication equipment relevant to siding installation
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and safety protocol adherence on outdoor job sites
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions with outdoor work experience preferred
- Additional skills such as roofing repair, metal roofing installation, tile laying, masonry or carpentry are advantageous but not required
