Brayman Construction in Saxonburg, PA is seeking a career-oriented, experienced Equipment/Logistics Coordinator to support our growing operations. What You'll Do as an Equipment/Logistics Coordinator:
You will play a key role in keeping our fleet and logistics operations running smoothly and compliantly:
- Manage vehicle registrations, renewals, titles, insurance cards, and IFTA fuel permits/filings
- Track and maintain Coast Guard watercraft registrations and renewals
- Apply for and secure heavy haul permits
- Oversee company fuel card program
- Manage EZ Pass accounts and transponder tracking
- Administer ELD devices and ensure Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
- Maintain DOT qualification files for commercial drivers
- Manage DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse requirements
- Assist with internal trucking schedules and logistics coordination
- Support logistics budgeting and cost tracking
- Track and manage fleet assets (trucks, trailers, and equipment)
- Provide support to Equipment and Asset Managers on special projects
What We're Looking For in an Equipment/Logistics Coordinator:
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, licensing, and permitting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across field, shop, and office teams
- Clean driving record
- Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and mobile/ELD technologies
- Experience with HCSS and accounting software (Viewpoint is a plus)
- Highly organized with a proactive, "can-do" attitude
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5 years of experience in logistics, fleet, or equipment administration preferred
- AEMP Equipment Management Specialist (EMS) certification is a plus
- Relevant training or certifications related to fleet/logistics operations are a plus
Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with occasional time in the yard and at job sites
