Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and related systems, ensuring smooth operation.
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams accurately to troubleshoot electrical systems and implement effective solutions.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete tasks, and communicate repair progress clearly
- Experience
- Proven dealership experience or extensive service technician background with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Hands-on experience working with Asian and domestic vehicles
- Familiarity with schematics interpretation, vehicle transmission system repair, diesel engine repair, and vehicle systems troubleshooting is essential.
- Demonstrated mechanical knowledge combined with proficiency in automotive electrical systems and wiring diagram interpretation.
- Prior experience with vehicle maintenance tasks such as general maintained repairs, and suspension system overhauls.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly and professionally.
