Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Unarmed Security Guard to join our team in Oxnard, CA. This role is essential in maintaining a safe, orderly, and professional environment while delivering exceptional service and upholding company standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine security patrols and monitor assigned areas to prevent unauthorized access
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors and staff, ensuring safety protocols and site rules are followed
- Accurately and promptly complete incident and daily activity reports
- Manage access control and visitor flow in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow established procedures during emergencies and conflict situations
- Enforce company policies, post orders, and regulations to maintain a safe environment
- Maintain a visible and alert presence to deter potential threats or misconduct
Qualifications
- Previous experience or training in security, customer service, or a related field preferred
- Must be bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English
- Strong verbal communication and de-escalation skills
- First Aid and CPR certification preferred
- Knowledge of loss prevention and situational awareness techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with laws and regulations related to private security work
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays if needed
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
