Responsibilities
- Provide medical administrative support, including insurance verification, patient intake and checkout processes.
- Schedule appointments for patients using the EHR System
- Assist in patient care by measuring vital signs and documenting information in EHR systems.
- Manage incoming and outgoing faxes
- Deliver exceptional customer service in both English and Spanish to enhance patient experience.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a fast paced family practice setting.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety and health protocols.
- Multitask and demonstrate the ability to adapt to new knowledge
- Required Experience: 1-2 yrs of experience in a family practice setting and reception/front office skills.
Preferred Experience: 1yr with eClinical Works EMR, 1-2 yrs Insurance Verification Experience
Required Education/Credentials: High School Diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant Certification/License in accordance to the state requirements and applicable regulations of jurisdiction.
