THE OPPORTUNITY
Join BravO! National Dance & Talent Competition as a dependable, safety-focused independent contractor. Drive a rented Class B box truck to regional events, transport touring equipment, supervise loading and unloading, and assist with event setup and tear down.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Safely operate the assigned commercial vehicle and complete required inspections.
· Load, secure, transport, and unload touring equipment; maintain accurate logs and records.
· Follow routes and schedules while promptly communicating delays, incidents, or concerns.
· Support event load-in/setup and tear down/load-out when driving duties are complete.
WHAT YOU NEED
· Valid interstate Class B CDL with air brakes; current medical certification.
· Acceptable motor vehicle record and ability to pass required screenings.
· Knowledge of inspections, cargo securement, safe driving, and driver documentation.
· Reliability, professional communication, and flexibility with changing routes and schedules.
· Ability to lift/carry up to 45 lb. and push/pull up to 500 lb., with or without reasonable accommodation.
SCHEDULE & TRAVEL
Up to 13 events per tour route across the contiguous United States. The schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime. Up to four events may be scheduled back-to-back without returning to Omaha, requiring as much as 3½ weeks away.
COMPENSATION & SUPPORT
· $1,500 per week/event: $940 base pay plus $560 per diem, paid before departure under 1099 guidelines.
· Truck rental, fuel, DEF, tolls, permits, and vehicle/equipment insurance covered.
· Event-city hotel provided, generally shared with one touring staff member; transit lodging, food, and incidentals supported by per diem.
· Medical card examination and required USDOT testing reimbursed; safe-driver bonus available.
