If you excel at driving organizational alignment and pushing complex data migrations across the finish line, reach out!
Responsibilities
- Lead overall organizational change management (OCM), communication strategies, and migration alignment to drive business unit adoption away from Teradata and onto Azure Data Lake / Databricks.
- Partner with technical leads to identify, map, and document all system connection points, feeds, and departmental data usages.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive master program plan (Gantt charts, Red/Yellow/Green project health tracking) to monitor cross-functional timelines and milestones.
- Act as an assertive driver and escalation point to eliminate bottlenecks, hold business units accountable to transition schedules, and stem growing usage on legacy systems.
- Work in close coordination with technical platform vendors and internal engineering leads overseeing technical enablement and code refactoring.
- Deliver regular program health updates, risk assessments, and milestone reports directly to business leadership.
- Oversee and drive decommissioning planning to ensure a complete cutover prior to legacy platform contract renewal deadlines
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 7 years of technical project management experience driving complex enterprise data migrations, data warehousing, or system modernization projects.
- Strong foundational "data mindset” with the ability to understand data usage patterns, ETL/ELT pipelines, and platform shifts (Teradata to Azure Data Lake / Databricks).
- Proven track record in Organizational Change Management (OCM), stakeholder engagement, and driving technology adoption across non-technical business units.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to hold teams accountable, drive progress, and navigate organizational resistance across business departments.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies (Agile/Waterfall), Gantt chart program mapping, and delivery tools (Jira, Confluence, MS Project).
- Ability to work on-site Monday through Wednesday in Grand Rapids, MI.
- PMP, CSM, Prosci, or relevant cloud/data project management certifications preferred.
