Position Overview
Bravo Consulting Group is seeking a FOIA Redaction Analyst to support an Intelligence Community (IC) customer onsite in McLean, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing sensitive and classified government records and supporting FOIA, Privacy Act, Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR), and/or Automatic Declassification Review (ADR) processes.
This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong knowledge of disclosure and classification requirements, and the ability to accurately manage case documentation while working within strict government deadlines.
Responsibilities
Review public and official requests involving the release of classified and/or sensitive information under FOIA, the Privacy Act, Executive Order 13526, and applicable IC policies and procedures.
Support complex FOIA cases, including litigation and appeals, applying knowledge of FOIA and Privacy Act exemptions and administrative requirements.
Conduct Mandatory Declassification Review (MDR) and Automatic Declassification Review (ADR) in accordance with Executive Order 13526.
Coordinate taskings, records searches, and document collection activities across IC agency components and external government agencies.
Validate the adequacy of records searches and ensure relevant facts are accurately captured in case documentation.
Conduct detailed reviews of case files to ensure searches, consultations, document reviews, correspondence, and other required actions are complete and properly documented.
Monitor case progress and deadlines while coordinating workflow with government leads and other stakeholders.
Produce high-quality, grammatically accurate documentation and correspondence requiring minimal government editing.
Prepare and submit signed final response letters to requesters and support case closure within required timelines following government approval.
Maintain accurate and timely case status information using customer-designated tools and systems.
Provide inputs for annual compliance reporting as directed by the Government.
Support the availability of ODNI information approved for public release in accordance with applicable law and Government direction.

Required Skills
TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or 9 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Demonstrated experience supporting FOIA, Privacy Act, MDR, and/or ADR case processing.
Experience with case coordination, documentation, correspondence, and interaction with requesters.
Strong ability to review sensitive government records while ensuring compliance with disclosure, privacy, and classification requirements.
Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce professional, error-free documentation.
Proficiency with case management tools and document-handling systems.
Exceptional attention to detail and ability to accurately document case actions.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
