Role: Safety Technician

Duration: 6-12 Months (Long-term Contract)
Job Description:
This position will work under the direction of the site HSE manager. 90% of the position duties will be in the field with the construction team, supervising and enforcing the safety policies and procedures set forth by the client, the general contractor, and the owner. The candidate will participate in and conduct incident investigations, safety audits on the work site, and attend periodic meetings with the client and the GC. The contractor is currently working 6 days per week and looking to potentially add a 7th day to their work week. Allowances will be made to ensure that there is adequate time off during periods of extended work weeks, but a willingness to work overtime will be required.
Minimum Requirements:
- OSHA 30 (within last 5 years)
- 5 years of construction safety experience
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Lock out experience
- Fall protection experience
