Job Title: Product Intelligence Lead
Location: Indianapolis, IN (Hybrid: Tues–Thurs onsite)
Duration: 3 - 6 Months Contract (Possibility of multi years)
POSITION SUMMARY
Client is seeking a Product Intelligence Lead to join our Lumen Intelligent Value Management Office (VMO). This role is responsible for driving product strategy, prioritization, and value realization using AI-enabled insights and decision-making.
The Product Intelligence Lead will partner with engineering, business stakeholders, and Lumen Program and Portfolio leaders to ensure product initiatives are aligned to measurable business outcomes and delivering value.
This is not a traditional Product Manager role. We are looking for candidates who actively use AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot) to analyze data, generate insights, and support product and business decisions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Strategy & Roadmap
· Define and maintain product strategy aligned to business objectives
· Translate business goals into product priorities and roadmaps
· Ensure product initiatives are tied to measurable outcomes (e.g., adoption, revenue, efficiency)
Product Prioritization & Decision Support
· Lead prioritization of product features and initiatives based on value and impact
· Evaluate trade-offs and present clear recommendations to stakeholders
· Challenge low-value or misaligned work
AI-Driven Analysis & Insights
· Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to:
· analyze customer and product data
· synthesize insights
· support product decisions
· Apply structured prompting and iteration to generate high-quality outputs
· Leverage AI to improve speed and quality of product analysis
Customer & Product Performance Monitoring
· Track product performance using:
· usage data
· adoption metrics
· customer feedback
· Identify gaps between delivered features and realized value
· Recommend adjustments based on data and insights
Cross-Functional Collaboration
· Partner with:
· engineering teams
· design teams
· business stakeholders
· Align product roadmap with delivery plans and enterprise priorities
· Support coordination across multiple teams and initiatives
Integration with Lumen Model
· Work closely with:
· Program Intelligence Leads (execution)
· Portfolio Intelligence Director (strategy)
· Provide product-level insights to support portfolio decisions
· Contribute to value realization tracking across programs
Required Qualifications
· 5–10 years of experience in:
· Product Management
· Product Strategy
· Digital Product Leadership
· Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
Experience operating across:
· business
· engineering
· data/analytics
· Proven ability to:
· define product strategy
· prioritize work based on value
· deliver measurable business outcomes
AI Requirements (MANDATORY)
Candidates must demonstrate hands-on, practical use of AI tools in their current or recent roles.
