Consumer/Home Equity Lending Officer

Bravera is hiring for a Consumer/Home Equity Lending Officer in Bismarck, ND. This position is responsible for taking care of consumer loan inquiries, submitting consumer loan applications, and closing consumer loans. Ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or other related area, possess 2-3 years of banking experience; possess excellent communication, time management skills, professionalism, confidentiality, and thoroughness.

1. Be a trusted advisor to Bravera customers
2. Offers excellent customer service.
3. Have knowledge of all home equity and mortgage products, to have the ability to identify cross-selling opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Earn and maintain the respect and trust of people. Display honesty, integrity, and morality.
2. Responsible for promoting a positive and collaborative environment that supports teamwork and excellent customer service throughout the organization.
3. Contribute to the overall success of the organization by leveraging opportunities as they relate to all entities of Bravera Holdings Corp.
4. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism regarding all employee and customer issues and information.
5. Analyze consumer loan applications; originate and process direct and indirect consumer loan products.
6. Originate and analyze Home Equity loan applications.
7. Works with customers to resolve delinquent payment issues, credit problems and related situations.
8. Fully understand and adhere to Bravera Loan Policy/Procedure and Deposit Policy and Procedure and recommend enhancements, as needed.
9. Develop and maintain relationships with customers as well as dealers as needed.
10. Adhere to current banking rules and regulations and keep abreast of changes.
11. Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
12. Knowledge of all banking products and services.
13. Responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
14. The employee will adhere to all banking rules and regulations, including but not limited to the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act. In addition, the employee will be proactive in the prevention of illegal activities, will vigilantly look for activities that may constitute any type of fraud including money laundering, and will report any suspicious activity to the BSA Officer.

QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES):

1. Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or other related areas
2. Experience: 2-3 years of banking experience
3. Skills/certifications: Excellent communication & time management skills
4. Professionalism & Confidentiality
5. Thoroughness
