Warehouse Associate - Shakopee, MN

Job Description:

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

·        Ship and receive product and examine product for damage

·        Store product according to established procedures

·        Assist with maintaining inventory records

·        Enter inventory information into ERP system

·        Understand and follow inventory management SOP’s

·        Pick orders and prepare for shipment

·        Troubleshoot issues utilizing the ERP system and reporting tools

·        Operate pallet jack, fork lift and other tools as needed

·        Contribute to the daily maintenance and general cleanliness of the warehouse area

·        Assist with other material management tasks when needed

Qualifications and Experience Required:

·        Minimum 2 to 4 years of experience in an automated warehouse environment using scanning / scan gun technology

·        Physically able to lift up to 75 lbs.

·        Some college or technical school preferred or equivalent related work experience

·        Must have prior experience using a formal ERP type system

·        Good verbal and written communication skills

·        Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

·        Willingness to offer solutions for process improvements

·        Enthusiastic with ability to multi-task

·        Forklift certified / previous forklift experience

·        Dependable

·        Previous experience with ShipExec system a plus
