Occupational Therapist

We specialize in Speech, Feeding, Occupational, and ABA Therapy. Our company mission is to provide exceptional care through every step of the therapeutic process.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience working with ASD population.
• At least 1 year experience with the DIR/Floortime approach and designing sensory diets.
• Occupational Therapist License in New Jersey/OTR.
• 3 years of Pediatric experience.
• Effective and efficient problem solver.
• Positive tone in interactions with staff.
• Exhibits responsibility and professionalism.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates organization and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates an initiative to learn in order to meet goals and/or targets.
• Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related tasks as requested.
• Welcomes constructive feedback and applies to promote growth and development.

Compensation

• This is a Full-Time position, compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
• This position is eligible for company subsidized benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive diagnostic evaluations on infants, children, and adolescents. Analyze, interpret, and document evaluation results.
• Develop Treatment Plans with short and long term goals.
• Plan and provide individual and/or group therapy according to the individual needs and goals.
• Provide family education and training to assist in carryover of skills into a client's daily living environment.
• Make appropriate referrals for additional services.
• Supervise other Occupational Therapists and/or COTAs, graduate students, and volunteers, as assigned.
• Participate in in-service training and/or parent education programs as appropriate.
