Quality Control Technician - 1st & 2nd Shift

Job Summary: Quality control technicians are responsible for ensuring products meet the required quality standards before they get to the customer.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections and audits across all stages of production.
  • Ensure compliance to company standards and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain inspection and audit reports.
  • Collect and record quality data.
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement processes accordingly.
  • Develop and document quality standards.
  • Actively participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement projects
  • Communicate quality and compliance concerns with urgency.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert.
  • Answer employee questions and provide education as needed.
  • Adhere to established safety protocols.
  • Other jobs as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • General computer skills

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years related experience required.

Licensure/Certifications:

  • Forklift Operator

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to reach, stoop, bend, carry, and manipulate various items.
  • Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally required to sit.

Schedule:

  • 1st shift 6am-6pm.
  • 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule.

Salary : $20 - $24
