Position Summary
The Co-op (Part-Time) position offers students hands-on experience in a professional environment while continuing their education. Assignments may include roles in production, office support, or welding, providing exposure to manufacturing processes, business operations, and technical skills development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in daily tasks within assigned department (production, office, or welding).
- Support manufacturing operations, including assembly, material handling, and quality checks.
- Perform basic welding tasks under supervision (if assigned to welding).
- Provide administrative support such as data entry, document preparation, and filing (if assigned to office).
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to process improvement ideas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete assigned projects and report progress to supervisor.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a high school, technical program, or college degree program.
- Ability to work part-time during school sessions.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills for office assignments.
