Summary of Responsibilities
Perform high quality welds on small parts, roof, floor, left and right side module assemblies using welder, plasma torch, band saw, sawzall, square, straightedge and other necessary tools.

Receive, review and interpret instructions, prints and work orders for each unit
Verification and inspection of all welds
Plan details of working procedure, tooling and material requirements
Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded
Set up and assemble work order parts
Operate Lincoln Power MIG welder and other miscellaneous equipment
Full seam and spot weld material (primarily aluminum)
Fabricate material
Cutting, burning and welding various metals
Repair equipment by suing welding techniques and appropriate welding equipment
Use burning equipment to dismantle assemblies and to cut material to size and shape
Technical Skills/Competencies (Technical Knowledge, Education and Experience)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years prior working experience in welding (preferably with aluminum)
- Successfully pass AWS certification within 12 months of employment
- Experience with small machinery; welding equipment, power, air and hand tools; tape measure
Personality Traits / Core Skills
- High cooperation with fabrication and bodywork department
Essential Functions/Physical Requirements
- Proper utilization of PPE – harness, helmet and earplugs
