Job Summary:
We are actively seeking an experienced Institutional Construction Project Superintendent with a history of managing projects within the $10-15 million range. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in overseeing institutional construction projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, safety regulations, and quality standards. No travel required. Enjoy living in Austin, Texas and the surrounding hill country area.
Essential Functions:
- Lead and manage all facets of institutional construction projects, overseeing budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Coordinate and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
- Ensure strict compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards throughout the construction lifecycle.
- Communicate project progress, updates, and address concerns effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
- Uphold a culture of safety on-site, enforcing safety protocols and regulations for a secure working environment.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a construction project superintendent managing projects within the $10-15 million range.
- Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and relevant building codes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite.
- OSHA certification and other industry-related certifications/licenses are advantageous.
