What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fleet Accounts Specialist — Commercial Services position at Brauman, Inc.?
What this role actually is
This is not a data entry job. This is not a support role. You will be the primary point of contact between our operation and fleet management companies, national account contacts, and commercial clients. You will be managing live accounts, resolving billing and service issues in real time, identifying new opportunities, and building relationships that generate revenue.
You need to be sharp, fast, and comfortable operating without a script. Every day will look different. The right person thrives in that environment.
What you will own
- Manage a portfolio of active commercial fleet accounts — own the relationship from first contact through ongoing service
- Serve as the main point of contact for fleet management companies and account representatives
- Identify and pursue new account opportunities independently — you bring us clients, not just maintain existing ones
- Resolve billing disputes, service authorization issues, and account status problems quickly and professionally
- Track account activity, document interactions, and keep internal systems updated in real time
- Coordinate between clients and our internal operations team to ensure service delivery matches account expectations
- Monitor account health — flag issues before they become problems
- Build relationships with procurement contacts, fleet managers, and vendor representatives
- Respond to account inquiries fast — same day, every time
Who we are looking for
- 2 years in account management, client relations, or B2B service coordination — you have managed real accounts, not just assisted
- Comfortable navigating complex client relationships — you know how to read a room and adjust
- Strong communicator by phone, email, and in person — you sound professional every time without being coached
- Detail-oriented and organized — you track everything, you miss nothing
- Problem solver under pressure — when something breaks, you fix it first and explain it second
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred — a significant portion of our accounts operate in Spanish
- Background in fleet, automotive, logistics, facilities, or commercial services is a strong plus
- Must be based in South Florida
- Must be authorized to work in the US
What we offer
- $52,000–$65,000 base salary depending on experience
- Performance bonus tied to account retention and new account acquisition
- Direct access to senior leadership — decisions get made fast here
- Real ownership of your accounts — you are not a middleman, you run the relationship
- A fast-moving operation with room to grow as we expand
Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
Application Question(s):
- Have you ever independently resolved a billing dispute, account suspension, or service authorization issue with a corporate or commercial client?
- Are you currently based in South Florida and able to work in Miami, Fort Laud, West Palm areas?
- A major account contact goes silent — no response to emails or calls for 5 business days and there is an open billing issue. Walk me through exactly what you do.
- You have never worked with a particular company before but you need to get in front of their fleet manager to introduce our services. No warm introduction exists. How do you get the meeting?
Experience:
- Customer relationship management: 2 years (Required)
