We are looking for enthusiastic professionals to join us in furthering this work. Brattleboro Union High School is seeking a social studies teacher for two years (August 2026 through June 2028). Brattleboro Union High School is a comprehensive high school located in southeastern Vermont. We seek applicants with strong content knowledge, enthusiasm, a broad range of instructional strategies, and the ability to work with a heterogeneous student population. Successful candidates must be conversant with strategies to implement a proficiency-based classroom philosophy and current best practices. (SY 26/27, the salary range for this position is between $57,500 to $96,632 dependent upon education and directly related teaching experience.) Successful candidates will be able to discuss their expertise and experience working with students from historically marginalized demographic groups.
