Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Mental Health Technician located in Brattleboro, VT. The Mental Health Technician will be responsible for assisting with patient care, monitoring patient behavior, and supporting therapeutic treatment plans. Day-to-day tasks include observing and reporting patient behavior, assisting with daily living activities, collaborating with the treatment team, and ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for all patients.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Experience in a mental health or healthcare setting is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree in a human services field preferred
- Skills in Direct Patient Care is a plus
Compensation and Benefits
- $23.22 - $29.40/hr
- $4,000 sign on bonus
- $4.25/hr night shift differential
- $3/hr weekend differential
