What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Housing Quality Standards/INSPIRE Inspector position at Brattleboro Housing Partnerships?

Are you looking for flexible hours? Within approximately 5-10 hours per week, make hours to fit your schedule.
Position entails
- Conducting HQS/INSPIRE inspections of unoccupied and occupied apartments in the community for the Section 8 program. Analyze inspection results and notify the landlord/resident of inspection results. Send landlord/resident of failed units list of deficiencies and time frame for repairs.
- The inspections are primarily located in the Brattleboro area but may include a few in the surrounding towns.
Requirements
- Have a basic understanding of building maintenance and systems
- Have strong attention to detail skills
- Be able to climb stairs
- Have professionalism when dealing with renters and landlords
- Is able to document information in a timely manner
