Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and energetic Auto Body Paint Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Apply paint using airless spray guns, power tools, and hand tools with precision and attention to detail.
- Perform auto body repairs such as filling dents, smoothing surfaces, and aligning panels before painting.
- Use buffing machines and detailing techniques to achieve a smooth, glossy finish on painted surfaces.
- Conduct auto glass replacements or repairs as needed during the restoration process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks including minor mechanical repairs and auto estimating when required.
Qualifications
- Previous dealership or auto body shop experience is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of auto body repair, auto painting techniques, and vehicle maintenance.
- Proficiency with welding, buffing, airless paint spraying, and the use of power tools.
- Familiarity with auto glass installation and detailing processes.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with experience in auto restoration is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy parts safely and perform physical tasks efficiently.
