BRASS and The Tusk Bar are sister venues within the historic Evelyn Hotel: a new-age NYC grand dining room and cocktail bar that celebrate the art of hospitality in all its forms. BRASS channels the glamour of old New York and the spirit of the modern brasserie; The Tusk Bar is its moody, cocktail-leaning counterpart, where the room hums with energy and the oysters and martinis come cold.
We are seeking a talented Executive Sous Chef to join the team at BRASS and The Tusk Bar who enjoys leading both à la carte service and events in a fast-paced, hospitality-driven environment.

Qualifications:

3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a culinary-driven, well-rated restaurant or hotel

Prior success running expo and working all stations in a busy kitchen

Strong administrative skills, including scheduling and kitchen organization

Experience training and mentoring a diverse hourly line cook team

Ability to drive performance, consistency, and accountability in a team environment
