Marketing Associate
Drunk Shakespeare (Los Angeles)
Seasonal | September 2026 – March 2027 | Hourly
We're looking for a creative, self-motivated Marketing Associate to support our LA location on a temporary basis through the run of the season. This is a hands-on, in-the-field role. You'll be at the venue, in the room, and out in the neighborhood making sure the world knows about us. This position reports to the Director of Marketing & Growth and will work alongside the social media manager.
What You'll Do

Attend shows regularly to capture photo and video content of live performances, cast interactions, and audience moments

Shoot content for use across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)

Collaborate with actors and production staff to shoot promotional content and behind-the-scenes material

Deliver promotional materials to nearby businesses, bars, hotels, and partner organizations in the area

Build and maintain relationships with local partners and community contacts

Assist with content strategy on an ongoing basis (contributing ideas, flagging trends, and helping shape how we show up online)

Stay plugged into the LA entertainment and nightlife scene to identify partnership and promotional opportunities
What We're Looking For

Experience capturing content in live, fast-paced environments (low-light venues a plus)

Strong instincts for social media content, especially short-form video

Comfortable approaching and engaging with audience members to capture post-show reactions and testimonials

Reliable, self-directed, and able to work evenings and weekends as shows require

Personable and confident representing the brand in the community

Passion for theater, comedy, nightlife, or live entertainment is a real plus
Schedule & Compensation
This is a part-time, hourly position running September through March. Evening and weekend availability may be required as needed.
10-15 hours/week, $28-$30/hr commensurate with experience
About The Venue
Brass Jar Productions is opening a new performance venue in the heart of Hollywood, just steps from the Walk of Fame and a few blocks from the Hollywood Pantages Theatre. The venue will feature two distinct spaces, including the 130-seat mainstage and a smaller cabaret-style space.

Drunk® Shakespeare is the hit Off-Broadway comedy where five classically trained actors attempt to perform a Shakespearean masterpiece—after one of them takes five shots of whiskey. The result is a boozy, irreverent, and wildly entertaining theatrical experience. The Drunk® Theatrical Universe now includes multiple iterations of the highly successful show, including Drunk® Dracula, Drunk® Christmas Carol, and Drunk® Pirates.
