About Us
Brass Bell Music has been serving the Milwaukee area since 1971 as a trusted, community-focused music store. We specialize in instrument rentals, sales, lessons, and repairs, helping students and musicians at every level.
We’re looking for a motivated, customer-focused Product Specialist to join our team.
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers in selecting instruments, accessories, and services
- Provide knowledgeable, friendly, and solution-focused customer service
- Maintain clean, organized, and engaging product displays
- Operate our point-of-sale system (AIMsi) and handle transactions
- Support store operations including opening/closing procedures
- Stay up-to-date on products, promotions, and store policies
- Collaborate with team members and assist across departments as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn product knowledge (musical background is a plus, but not required)
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to handle busy periods calmly and professionally
- Reliable and dependable attendance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs)
- Ability to use a ladder
- Ability to work at a standing-height workstation and navigate our sales floor
Schedule & Availability
- Must be available during peak seasons (September and December)
- Employees must be available for one weekend and one closing shift per week
