Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Venue Utility Worker to support day-of event operations at our venue. This hands-on role is essential in ensuring seamless guest experiences and smooth coordination across departments, from pre-event setup to post-event breakdown and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Light and maintain outdoor fireplaces before and during events.
Coordinate with valet companies to ensure proper setup based on ceremony location and guest flow.
Assist with guest transportation between ceremony sites and the main building when necessary.
Support service staff with ceremony setup (when needed), including moving tables, chairs, and propane tanks.
Monitor guest activity during cocktail hour and receptions, particularly around bar areas
Communicate with bus drivers and direct them to the appropriate location for guest pickup.
Assist with collecting and organizing couples' personal décor at the end of the event.
Pick up McDonald's orders for the even
Perform end-of-night lock-up duties, ensuring the venue is secure.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and coordination skills.
Able to lift and move event equipment such as tables, chairs, and propane tanks.
Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
A team player with a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
Previous event or venue experience is a plus, but not required.
