Responsibilities
As a Front Desk Agent, you will have the opportunity to interact with guests from all over the world and play a key role in in creating unforgettable moments and memories.
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with patience and professionalism
- Must be effective at listening to, understanding and clarifying the concerns and issues raised by coworkers and guests.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
- Assist with reservations and room assignments
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Perform any other duties as requested by the Guest Services Manager or any other member of management.
Experience
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field required.
- Familiarity with phone systems and basic computer skills, including spreadsheets
- Knowledge of hotel management software is an advantage
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus
