Department: Asphalt Plants
Reports to: Plant Manager / Yard Foreman
Major Role and Purpose:
- Operates front-end loader, excavates and loads materials to and from stockpiles.
- Loads material from stockpiles to appropriate bins for asphalt production
- Loads material into Dump Trucks
- Uses various hand tools
- Basic mechanical skills to assist with plant maintenance
- Oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment
- Yard maintenance
- Travel to and from the different plants
- Monitors the activity within the site
- Follow all safety policies and procedures
- Perform all other duties deemed necessary or assigned
- High School Diploma Preferred
- 3-5 Years operating a front-end loader / various heavy equipment
