Outside Fleet Salesperson

About the Role

Brannen Ford is hiring an Outside Fleet Service Salesperson to win and grow commercial fleet business across our market. You will call on local businesses, contractors, municipalities and other fleet operators at their locations, build lasting relationships, and become their go-to partner for vehicles, service and Mobile Service.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and cold-call businesses in person to identify fleet needs, including work trucks, vans, and service vehicles.
• Build and manage a pipeline of fleet accounts, from first visit through delivery and repeat business.
• Prepare quotes and proposals, work with the fleet manager and finance team on pricing, ordering and incentives, and close deals.
• Visit existing customers regularly to review vehicle replacement cycles, upcoming needs, and satisfaction.
• Promote Mobile Service, along with parts and the service department, as part of a complete fleet solution.
• Keep accurate records of calls, visits, quotes and follow-ups in the CRM.
• Stay current on Ford fleet programs, incentives, upfitting options, and competitor offerings.
• Represent the dealership at local business events and in the community.

Qualifications

Required

• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Comfortable making in-person cold calls and working independently in the field.
• Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Ability to work with CRM tools, spreadsheets and email.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout the territory.
• Able to pass a background check and drug screen.

Preferred

• Two or more years of outside sales, fleet sales or B2B automotive experience.
• Knowledge of Ford commercial vehicles, upfitting and fleet incentive programs.
• Existing relationships with local businesses or government buyers.

Working Conditions and How to Apply

This is a full-time, field-based role. Most of the day is spent driving to customer sites, with time at the dealership for quoting, meetings and delivery coordination.
