Hourly Pay Range: $32-35/hr

Sign-on Bonus: $3000

To help us achieve that mission, we are looking for an experienced “Class-A or B Distributor Drivers”.

Position Summary:

Brannan Sand Gravel is hiring qualified drivers to safely haul TACK to and from Brannan job sites and facilities in the Denver metro area. Drivers maintain a sense of urgency throughout the day to deliver product safely and efficiently. Spraying tack on jobsites, both in the truck and while walking with a spray can. Maintain jobsite cleanliness when applying tack product. Properly maintains equipment by conducting the proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections, mechanical write-ups, and cleanliness of both interior and exterior of the truck. Properly fill and manage liquid levels of tack product. Anticipate customer needs Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while fulfilling customer needs and relaying any potential problems or concerns to management or dispatch.

Functional Responsibilities:

• Safe Driving Habits- Responsible for safe operation of distributor on and off Brannan Facilities and job sites.

- Utilizes defensive driving practices.

- Adheres to company policies for Personal Protective Equipment.

- Maintains an alert awareness of potential jobsite or plant hazards.

· Efficient Delivery Practices- Drivers maintain a sense of urgency throughout the day to deliver product safely and efficiently. The driver is always ready at the scheduled time and alerts fellow drivers of accidents enroute to jobs.

• Truck Operations & Maintenance- Properly maintains equipment by conducting the proper pre-trip and post-trip inspections and mechanical write-ups. Properly operates the truck and other types of equipment according to the manufacturer’s recommended guidelines.
• Customer Service- Maintains a positive attitude in all interactions with customers. Anticipates and fulfills all customer needs possible, alerting management to potential customer concerns.
• Professional Appearance- Maintains trucks in a consistently clean condition. The cab is always clean and well-ordered, and the exterior appearance of the truck is maintained each day.

General Responsibilities:

Operates truck in a manner that ensures compliances with all state and federal safety regulations. Follow required Brannan and DOT reporting procedures. All paperwork should be kept current during the day including timecards with job information and DVIR books. Drivers are responsible for ensuring all license, tags, permits and proof of insurance, as well as keeping their personal driver’s license and medical cards current. Reports for work on time and at the scheduled location.

Qualifications:

· Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License

· Clean MVR

· Current DOT Medical Card

· At least 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience

· No shifting restrictions on CDL, must be able to safely operate a manual transmission

· Familiarity with the Denver metro area

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to sit for extended periods of time

· Pushing up to 90 pounds for 5 feet

· Pulling up to 150 pounds for 5 feet

· Lifting to 45 pounds to waist

· Carrying up to 45 pounds for up to 30 feet

· Ability to step up 2 steps into and out of truck

· Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed with variable start times
