Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our BBQ family. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in a fast pace environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in preparing quality dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Ensure all food safety protocols are followed, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
- Assist in menu planning and development with the culinary team.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and other cooking tools.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
Experience
- Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is essential.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and techniques is a plus.
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods are required.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for food preparation and creativity in menu planning is highly valued.
