Electro-Mechanical Technician | Long-Term Contract to Direct Hire | 1st Shift

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician to support the assembly, installation, and testing of advanced automated systems used in the automotive and general manufacturing industries. This role involves working with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components to build and integrate automation equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, and test industrial automation systems and robotic equipment
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical diagrams
• Install and integrate mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic components
• Troubleshoot equipment and ensure quality standards are met
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to meet project deadlines
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow safety procedures

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; must be at least 18 years old
• Experience with industrial automation, mechanical assembly, or electrical systems
• Ability to read technical drawings and troubleshoot equipment
• Proficiency with hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work overtime as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with FANUC automation systems and industrial robotics
• Vocational training or certifications in electrical systems, automation technology, or a related field
• Experience assembling, integrating, or testing automated manufacturing equipment
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality standards
• Previous experience in an automotive manufacturing or industrial automation environment
