Role Description
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll work with the product development team to design mechanical parts, systems, and mechanisms for new Brane Audio products.
This role will join our small and growing team of engineers and scientists to help push the boundaries of sound through invention and scientific curiosity. You’ll work closely with a hands-on team and play a key role in bringing disruptive technology to market.

Responsibilities
- Design, analyze, release, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and assemblies for Brane Audio products.
- Sustain and improve existing Brane Audio products.
- Troubleshoot technical issues.
- Proactively fill in wherever you can to support the Brane development team.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Experience in producing parts at scale in a consumer environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- 6 years of Mechanical Engineering or related experience.
- Comfortable working with complex electromechanical systems.
- Experience designing for modern consumer electronics fabrication processes such as injection molding, forming, and PCBAs.
- Ability to own parts “cradle to grave” by working from concept to successful launch of product.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, hands on, and innovative environment.
- Ability to translate first principles thinking into reliable, cost effective, and practical solutions.
- Experience designing, ordering, assembling, and testing prototypes.
- Bonus: interest and/or projects completed in consumer electronics, music, and/or audio technology.
